At Crabapple Kennels, our breeding dogs are not just part of our program—they are beloved family members who live in our home and share in our daily lives. We are proud to own only two carefully selected dams, ensuring that each litter is raised with the utmost care, attention, and love.
Our girls are DNA-tested, health-checked, and raised in a nurturing environment, where they enjoy plenty of exercise, enrichment, and affection. Their well-being is our top priority, and they are cherished companions first and foremost. By keeping our breeding small and personal, we can dedicate the time and care needed to raise happy, healthy, and well-socialized puppies who are ready to become part of their own loving families.
Maggie – The Heart of Crabapple Kennels
Maggie isn’t just a beloved member of our family—she’s the reason Crabapple Kennels exists. From the moment she joined our lives, she proved to be the best dog we have ever owned—a perfect balance of playful energy, gentle affection, and unwavering loyalty. Her incredible temperament and loving nature inspired us to start our small breeding program, with the goal of continuing her exceptional lineage and sharing her wonderful qualities with other families.
Maggie is now preparing to welcome her fourth and final litter, and we couldn’t be prouder of the incredible mother she has been to each of her puppies. With every litter, she has poured herself into nurturing, teaching, and loving her pups, ensuring they grow into happy, well-adjusted companions. This next litter will be her last, after which Maggie will enjoy a well-deserved retirement, living the carefree, adventure-filled life she deserves.
At Crabapple Kennels, we are committed to ethical breeding practices—we do not overbreed our dams, prioritising their happiness, health, and quality of life above all else. Our breeding dogs are, first and foremost, our beloved family members, and when their breeding journey ends, they continue to live in our home, showered with love for the rest of their days.
After her final litter, Maggie will spend her retirement doing what she loves most—exploring the great outdoors, enjoying endless cuddles, and reminding us every day why we fell in love with this breed. 💛🐾
Meg – Our Playful, Loving Goofball
Meg is the life of the party at Crabapple Kennels—a cheeky, intelligent, and affectionate English Cocker Spaniel with a heart as big as her personality. The firstborn from Maggie’s very first litter, Meg has inherited her mother’s warm, friendly nature while adding her own mischievous spark to the family.
From the moment she arrived, we knew Meg was something special. She’s incredibly loving, always up for a game, and has a way of making everyone she meets feel like they’re her new best friend. Whether she’s zooming around the yard, rolling over for belly rubs, or showing off her goofy side, Meg keeps us laughing every day.
Now, as she prepares to mother her first litter, we are excited to see her pass on her wonderful temperament and playful spirit to the next generation. With Maggie as her role model, we have no doubt that Meg will be an amazing, nurturing mum, raising confident, affectionate puppies who are just as delightful as she is. 💛🐾
